Arney Genealogy
Where Our Past Comes Alive
Introducing the first website dedicated solely to
Arney Genealogy
My name is Stan Arney, and my desire is to make it as easy
as possible for anyone researching Arney genealogy.  I
have spent over 25 years researching and I will give you all
I know, without cost or obligation.  I have tried my best to
find definitive tangible proof of each of my ancestors
existence.  So, what you will find is what I have been able
to ascertain over the years.
How far back can I trace?
I can trace my branch of the Arneys back to a Jacob
Arney who died in Lincoln County, North Carolina in 1784.
Among his children were Christian born in York County,
PA in 1750, and Peter born in Tryon County, NC in 1772.
What have I learned about our past?
Tracing back to Jacob Arney's origin, his siblings and his
parents is a genealogical mystery over 280 years in the
making.  Tracing Peter's steps through time has been a little
easier, but there are gaps that need definitive tangible proof.
Where do I go from here?
I am always researching for definitive tangible proof of Arney
ancestry.  If I am proven wrong about anything it shall be
corrected on this site, for future researchers.  After all, that
is what is important what we prove therefore accept as fact.
How can you help?

Share your information with
the rest of us.  We all want
to know the facts.
